7/23 Transmitter Park Garden Volunteer Day!

7-23-16 Plant ID and Weeding EventThis Saturday, July 23rd, from 10 am to 12 noon, join the GCEF-funded Greenpoint Parks Community Stewardship Program for a morning of fun and exploration in Transmitter Park’s garden, home to many bird- and butterfly-friendly plants! Learn how to identify these species, and discover the benefits they provide – all while meeting and mingling with your Greenpoint neighbors! Afterwards, we will tend to Transmitter Park by weeding and watering the garden together.

Wear clothes that you can get dirty! Gloves and tools will be provided!

All ages are welcome. Free and open to the public. 

Coffee and snacks for all volunteers!
