Long Awaited Barge Park Plans Finally Revealed

by GWAPP on

GWAPP has just learned that the NYC Parks Department (and Open Space Alliance Executive Director Ed Janoff) with the NYC Economic Development Corporation will soon be presenting the latest designs for Greenpoint’s Newtown Barge Park.

On January 8th the designs will be presented to CB1’s Parks & Waterfront Committee, and we hope that you join to learn about the plans for this acre of waterfront parkland. Such plans have largely been a mystery since the community gathered a year ago to provide feedback to the Parks Department. We are all eager to hear how that feedback was incorporated.
