G Train: Nassau Ave to Church Ave from July 25 to Sept 2

by Heather Van De Mark on

As you hopefully know by now, the G Train will be shutting down tonight at 10:30pm until September 2 for Hurricane Sandy repairs between Court Square and Nassau Avenue. That’s correct, the end of the line for the train will be the Nassau Avenue stop in Greenpoint.

For those who need access to Greenpoint Ave, 21 St, and Court Square, you can hop on a free shuttle that will run between Nassau Ave. and Court Sq. as well as between Metropolitan/Lorimer and Court Sq. View full details on the change at the MTA website.

Why were the sites for Greenpoint Landing and 77 Commercial Street approved for the Greenpoint-Williamsburg Waterfront Rezone even though they were not included in the 2005 Environmental Review FEIS transportation study chapter?
