Save the Date: DOT Update on Kosciuszko Bridge Project

by Heather Van De Mark on

As you may (or may not) know the Kosciuszko Bridge–aka the BQE that runs between Greenpoint and Queens–is getting a makeover. In fact, the construction of the new Kosciuszko Bridge is “the largest project in the history of the New York State Department of Transportation.” The DOT will be hosting two public information meetings in Brooklyn and Queens respectively to update the communities on the project. (Each meeting will consist of the same presentation.)

Brooklyn – Wednesday, July 9th
Warsaw/Polish National Home
261 Driggs Avenue, Greenpoint

Queens – Wednesday, July 16th
Sunnyside Community Services
43-31 39th Street, Queens

6:00 p.m. – Registration and Review of Displays
6:30 p.m. – Presentation
