Volunteer in Bushwick Inlet Park!

Get Dirty & Weed at Bushwick Inlet Park
Community residents are invited to join NYC Parks Gardener Jason Beury for an afternoon of weeding and learning about native plants in Bushwick Inlet Park. Meet your neighbors and help make the park more enjoyable for everyone. We hope to make this an ongoing event throughout the season across various parks in North Brooklyn.

When: Sunday, May 4th from 1:00 – 3:00pm.
Where: We’ll meet at the park’s entrance at N. 9th St. Wear comfortable shoes/boots and pants.

Riverkeeper SWEEP at Bushwick Inlet Park
Join Friends of Bushwick Inlet Park for a cleanup of the park as part of the Riverkeeper Sweep, the annual day of service for the Hudson River. Registered volunteers are eligible for raffle prizes from Hudson River Recreation, Storm King Adventure Tours, Hudson River Expeditions and others. Registered volunteers also receive an invitation to Sweep to Your Brewery for a free beverage after the cleanup at Brooklyn Brewery or one of several other participating businesses.

When: Sarturday, May 10th from 10:30am – 1:30am.
