It’s Primary Election Day! Need to Know Info

by Heather Van De Mark on

Today is NYC’s Primary Election Day! What does that mean? If you’re registered as a member of particular party (ex: Democratic, Republican), you can vote for your party’s nominee. Today. Yes, today — go vote! Polling locations close at 9:00pm.

November 5th is the general election where all registered voters can vote regardless of party affiliation. You must be registered by October 11, 2013 to vote in the general election.

If you have questions, visit the NYC Board of Elections website or call 866-VOTE-NYC (866-868-3692). They can help you do things such as register, change your address, get an absentee ballot, find out if you’re registered, find your polling place location and more.
