BBQ Fundraiser for 61 Franklin St Garden This Saturday!

by Ryan Watson on

Help support your local community garden! The 61 Franklin Street Garden will host a BBQ and fundraiser this Saturday in the beautiful afternoon shade of the garden. The graffiti has been covered, the mural on the back wall has started, and our new raised beds for school groups have been built, but we need more funds to keep going! There is a suggested donation of $10 to support our education beds, the areas of the garden where local schools and after-school programs will be able to use for their educational programming.

Date: Saturday, September 7, 2013
Time: 4:00pm – 7:00pm
Location: 61 Franklin Street (btwn Oak and Calyer Streets) Brooklyn 11222
What to Bring: Beverages, blanket and something to grill. We’ll provide some delicious veggies.
RSVP on Facebook

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone who’s helped to make this garden grow! See you in the garden!
