She is a personal chef, caterer, and teaching chef who focuses on local and seasonal ingredients, and will be making two recipes for us to sample. The demo will last from around 10am – 12pm. Here is a link to her blog, A Party in My Pantry, to see some of her delicious creations.

A native New Yorker, Pam Boyle spent most of her college and post-college years pursuing a career in translation. The Spanish language, plus a growing interest to learn more about farming, led her to a family-run farm in the mountains of Costa Rica where she worked and learned the basics of maintaing a small-scale sustainable farm. Once back in Brooklyn, she was eager to learn more about the local farming communities in the tri-state area and to try out some of the farming techniques in her rooftop vegetable garden. She is very excited to be working with Greenmarkets, spending her Saturdays at Grand Army Plaza with the farmers and helping the community gain access to fresh, local food.
