That’s right! Through a collaborative effort, this summer the Greenpoint YMCA and the NYU Wallerstein Collaborative for Urban Environmental Education, with funding from Exxon Mobil and Broadway Stages, will be offering a six-week program called S.Y.S.T.E.M. for teens in grades 9 – 12. Participants can earn up to $1,500 while learning about Environmental Science, Green Technology, Engineering and Community Engagement. Students will conduct fun science experiments related to their community, the environment and green topics. For more detailed information on the SYSTEM program, click the image below.
