“Gasland” Screening with NAG & Riverkeeper

by GWAPP on

Join our buddies Neighbors Allied for Good Growth (NAG) and Riverkeeper for a screening of the documentary film “Gasland” at IndieScreen (285 Kent Avenue) on Saturday, January 26 from 4-7pm. As New York State debates the issue of hydraulic gas fracturing (or “fracking”) of the Marcellus Shale, come out to this event to learn more about potential effects fracking poses to our drinking water, and ultimately, our waterways.

Following the film, there will be a question and answer session with Riverkeeper Staff Attorney Mike Dulong. Doors open and drinks available at 4pm. The film will start at 5pm at Cinema Bar. IndieScreen is generously offering this as a free event.
