Two Trees Inviting Community Input On Open Space at Domino Sugar Site

by Heather Van De Mark on

We’ve written about the planned development on the historic Domino Sugar Factory, 3.2 acres along the East River in Williamsburg, before. Now, we want to update you that Two Trees, the development corporation behind the plan, is seeking community suggestions on what should be done. Last Thursday they held the first of several meetings soliciting community input on how an open space should be incorporated into the development’s design plan. At the meeting community members suggested an ice skating rink, community garden, and a dog run, amongst others.
