CCNYC Accepting Applications to Improve Schools and Communities

by GWAPP on

More money is available for a great community or school project. The Citizens Committee for NYC has micro-grants available (anywhere from $500 to $3,000) for “resident-led groups to work on community and school improvement projects throughout the city.” What would you do to improve Greenpoint or North Williamsburg? Don’t just think about it, take action.

There are four more informational sessions to be held before the deadline. To view session information, click here (PDF). RSVP to these events is required.

More information, as well as applications, can be found on the Citizens Committee for NYC website. Deadlines for applications are Jan. 31, 2012.

The Greenpoint Waterfront Association for Parks & Planning, Inc. ("GWAPP") is a not-for-profit group, 501(c)(3), comprised of individuals, community organizations, religious institutions, and concerned citizens from the Greenpoint-Williamsburg communities dedicated to the development of parks and public access on the Greenpoint waterfront.
