CB1 Meeting Tonight: Proposed Bike Lane On West Street

by GWAPP on

Get involved in your community and attend tonight’s Community Board 1 meeting this evening. It will take place this evening at 6:30 PM at the Swinging 60’s Center (211 Ainslie Street, Brooklyn, NY, 11211).

A key item on tonight’s agenda is a presentation by the Department of Transportation (DOT) on the Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway. Amongst other changes, the proposed plan would create a two-way bike lane along West Street, with an ultimate goal of creating an interconnected bike path from South Williamsburg to the northernmost end of Greenpoint. Visit the Brooklyn Greenway website for more information or go to the DOT website to see the full proposal.
